The people of Surzur have chosen their new logo!
We present the logo that we made for the city of Surzur.
“Two parts seem to want to join: on one side, the land is presented by the curves of a cultivated field and the ermine, on the other the sea and an oyster. The undulations that mark their possible assembly also materialize the Pénerf river. Everything is built with a set of lines that fit into a circle. For this, the symbol can think of a game of symmetry while it actually represents the harmonious marriage of the territory: the marsh of the river and its countryside, although the two parts of the logo are different.
This logo highlights agriculture, oyster farming, and Brittany with the presence of ermine. It values attachment to the territory by highlighting notions of balance and harmony. The green countryside of Surzur is highlighted by green colours.”
A total of 1535 people voted and 65% of the population chose this logo.
